About Us: Jayashree Art is a trusted and renowned art institution based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, dedicated for the past 18 years to the preservation, revival, and promotion of Sohrai and tribal paintings. Our aim is not only to promote traditional art but also to empower men and women by providing skill based training that enables them to become self-reliant. This commitment has made Jayashree Art a reliable centre for Jharkhand’s traditional art and an inspiring platform for emerging artists.

List of Works Accomplished by Jayashree Art :- 1. Beautification of more than 150 railway stations through Sohrai and traditional tribal paintings. 2. Conducted painting workshops and exhibitions in over 50 schools and colleges. 3. Provided training to more than 1000 women, helping them become skilled and self-reliant. 4. Revival and promotion of Sohrai and other Jharkhand tribal art forms since 2007. 5. Executed various art projects for government and private institutions. 6. Contributed significantly to women empowerment through art-based initiatives. 7. Recognized and honored by Indian Railways, Government of India officials, and several prestigious organizations for outstanding work in tribal art.

Sohrai Painting :- Sohrai Painting is a famous painting style of Jharkhand which is thousands of years old. The main objective of Sohrai art is to depict their local natural and cultural heritage. This is an endangered painting. This painting mainly depicts nature, plants, animals and people. Natural colors are used in this so that the picture looks attractive.

Kohbar Painting :- Kohbar Painting is a traditional painting style of Jharkhand. This painting style is used on weddings and special occasions. Where people make colorful paintings to decorate their homes. Kohbar painting is an important part of the cultural heritage of Jharkhand.

Pathkar Painting:- This is a folk art made in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. Along with folklore, it tells about tribal customs , festivals and lifestyle. To save this art from extinction, Amdubi village has been declared a tourist village.

Cultural Painting :- Cultural painting is a famous folk art made about the lifestyle, religious rituals, farming method and lifestyle of Jharkhand tribals.

Madhubani Painting:- Madhubani painting is a major folk art trend which has developed in the north - western part of India, especially in Madhubani district of Vihar state. Origin of this art: In ancient times, local people used this art to depict their religious stories and natural scenes. People started using this art to decorate the walls of their homes. Bright colors are used in it. This painting is very popular among the people. In modern times, people have started doing it in sarees, bags and jute also. Artists often depict Padpuja and religious stories.

Home Interior Decoration :- Home interior decoration is the art of making the interior spaces of a house beautiful, comfortable, attractive, and functional. Its purpose is not only decoration, but also to create a positive, balanced, and convenient atmosphere inside the home.

Artistic Wall Painting :- Artistic Wall Painting is a beautiful art form used to creatively decorate the walls of homes, offices, or any space. It involves painting attractive designs, patterns, natural scenes, traditional art, modern art, or theme-based artworks on the walls. This not only enhances the beauty of the walls but also makes the entire environment lively, stylish, and inspiring.

Dokra frame with painting:- Brass is used to make Dokra. First a wax frame is prepared and then brass is melted in it and molded. After this, Sohrai painting is made on the mount by the artists, due to which the beauty of the framing increases and this frame attracts people towards itself.
